  1. Ridden my 05 since new every week, in fact I don't think there are many in the world ridden one more, rode a Mont 4rt in the SSDT, rode the Scorpa 125 for a good six month, could afford to own any other 4 or 2 stroke if a so wished, but after riding the other's that are on offer I'll stick with my 3.2 thank you. In answer to the topic starters question, the bike starts very easy with the kit provided by Sherco.

  3. Looking at the photo's can't help but think, were are the spectator's!!. A place like that is geared up to cater for large numbers, the top riders are walking/riding the sections, in my experience that is when you get the most spectators round the section, and it's a one day event.
  4. Well! there's a few bit's, but not necessarily trick
  5. My ACU trials registration card, has my name, date of birth, picture, and a card number on the front, with the expiration date on the back. To renew the card for another year, I have to send another photo, all the information and you then make up a new card. If the information hasn't changed, why can't that be stated and a stick on expiration date be sent instead of making a new card. Or the option to purchase a card not requiring a medical certificate, for multiple years. Would it not save a little on making the card, and the younger photo on front save the cost of having to have new passport photo's .
  6. I have often read something from the page 3 story off the TMX site and it sparked an idea for a topic I posted on here, I don't think JD is copying and pasting stories, but Ideas do come from reading the forums. Many TC readers will also purchase the TMX, is that a bad thing in a sport so small ? obviously news travels the internet faster than a weekly publication and pictures and event reports soon hit the front page. Both TMX and TC sponsored in some way this years world round at Hawkstone, both are helping the sport one way or another, if JD doesn't think an online forum will work, then prove him wrong! he's been around a time or two, maybe a time or two too many, but I doubt he'll take the huff if you do prove him wrong. I would hate to see it turn into a us and them type of deal, isn't trials all US!! and them are the one's trying to shut us down.
  7. I try explain that to the wife, she say's "I suppose you think your going to get sex tonight also"
  8. I thought shooting clays was expensive, shooting bikes must cost a ton
  9. Fun little bike, I rode one for a while, and one thing I think needs to be changed is the frame, the single back bone doesn't allow the motor to sit high enough, look at the angle of the skid plate, it catches especially on big logs/boulder's where other bikes slide over on the skid plate, they hang up and throw you off balance. It would be a sweet outfit using the new 250F frame, three models using three different frames, could one frame fit all ?
  10. Geez, you lot!! are you going to ride these ******* thing's or just see how much tarting up you can do to it before you trade it in for an 08 I only did one trial on a Repsol, put gas in the bugger and thrashed it's B*****ks's off all week, if a could of len't it gain PF wall until next year, I dare say I could fill it up and ride the bugger all week again. programable this, switchable that, it all comes bloody stock in't shape of thi throttle, just knowing how to twist it reet is all the bloody mapping tha needs, get on wi it!!
  11. But you will give that daft bugger from the USA free reign to post the same old NATC ***** day after day, even his own forum to do it in.
  12. I know what your saying Hillary, a feet up stop isn't being called a stop by observers, has often as the feet or foot down stop is. I don't have an answer for it, because it isn't the rule it's the application, and some observers must see a stop foot down, more worthy of a penalty than stop feet up, as mentioned, providing they are consistant with the call, changing rules will probably only come up with a different problem. I do agree with marking the trial geared to the ability of the highest % of riders, rather than a few top riders is the way to keep most happy, and some sort of prior notice on the entry form or event info, like this trial will be of X caliber section, gives the punter a choice to go or not.
