Hi, welcum to trialszin in lancs! I am from Bolton MCC. Like Dabber says both Bolton and Darwen cater for Novices with a series of Novice and Beginners trials from Darwen club. Bolton club is a club that runs three different series (novex, phoenix and trax), the phoenix and trax series cater for nov and beg but not novex. Lancs County run easier wed nite trials, starting next wednesday and then there rochdale club who run a nov and beg series too, and south lancs club (they are AMCA though, not ACU backed like the others. Just check out TMX or the clubs websites, all linked through the bolton one.

this has come up at our club, and answer we got back was if it says it in the handbook you should do it. bikes to be examined by a competent person (??!!)its like an mot in terms of the liability on the examiner. i guess its abit of a similar situation as in the handbook where it says first aid is recommended, (recommended is as good as you should have so i was told at a recent trials seminar) but in terms of reality????????

I have just had this problem with my 2004 280 Pro. My dad bought some tank sealer from Frosts, not sure what he did but it has worked. http://www.frost.co.uk/item_Detail.asp?productID=8232 We had previously had it welded.

when where the rules changed kinell coz i only did mine in feb? an it wer brand new (but now a complete wreck.....)

It wouldnt let me insure me bike online at bennetts until i had a registration number. So off down to dvla in preston and i registered my bike for off road use only (cost nothing surprisingly!) and they issued me a Q plate registration after half an hour debating what to do! seems its different in every dvla!

Hows about moving up north then?

125 Crew! Ye I was at bolton trial! Gives you 1/2 a chance now coz theres 2 regular lancs lasses (in blue) but im the bigger one on the bigger bike!

Seen a number of lads bikes with anodise wheels lately. I think they are smart. In time is everone going to have these and are they going to become a way to personalise your bike with the different colours? I like blue.

I had a 250 last year and a 280 this year, much prefer the 280.
