Yorkshire Centre Team Trial 

ANNOUNCEMENT: - Spen Valley MCC Will organise a Centre Restricted Trial on September 3rd 2017 for solo motorcycles, run under the National Sporting Code, Standing Regulations of the ACU, the Yorkshire Centre Rules current at the time, the following Supplementary Regulations and any final instructions issued for the meeting.

This event will be the 2016 Yorkshire Centre Team Trial and a round of the youth A B C Championship

 

ELIGIBILITY: - Restricted to registered members of clubs affiliated to Yorkshire Centre ACU. All riders and passengers must hold a current ACU Trials Registration/Membership or a SACU licence or a ACU/SACU riders licence. Any rider or passenger from another FMN MUST produce a licence issued by their FMN together with start permission and proof of personal accident insurance.

 

MACHINES: - Motorcycles as per NSC Appendix D Category 1, Group A1 Solos; and TSR 8.

 

CLASSES: - Championship Route, Clubman Route A, Clubman Route B

Teams:- Consisting of 3 riders. These may be riders of any grade but the team status will be determined by the highest graded rider.

Youth A B C may ride on an individual basis and be eligible for points towards the Centre Championship. To gain points A class must ride the Championship course, B class the Clubman Route A and C class Clubman Route B

ENTRIES: - Teams of 3 riders:- Entries to be made on the official form and returned to their Clubs for nomination to a Team.

Teams may consist of riders of any grade but a team status will be determined by the highest graded rider.

A rider in a team may be substituted with another rider from a team already entered, by the team managers.

No telephone entries will be accepted.

Entries should be sent to the Secretary of the Meeting with the correct fee by closing date of Saturday September 3rd Cheques made payable to Spen Valley MCC

 

ENTRY FEES:-Team Entry:- £45.00 per team. Youth A B C £15.00

 

RESULTS: - Will be emailed to Club Secretaries and published on our website www.spenvalleytrials.co.uk For postal results please supply SAE.

 

AWARDS: - ​Best Overall Performance by a team on the Championship course:- The Haggas Shield and replica awards

Best Expert team:- The Ripon Trophy and replica awards

Best Intermediate team:- The Silchrome Trophy and replica awards

Best Novice team:- The Green Goddess Trophy and replica awards

Best Clubman A team:- The Robert Bland Trophy and replica awards

No Team to win more than 1 award

Trophies to be held for one year only.

Youth A B C Awards subject to entries

 

COURSE: - All on private land, 14 sections 3 laps, approx. 3 miles total and course will be closed by a back marker. Sections shall be ridden in correct order on each lap. The onus on finding the sections is that of the competitor, the route will be clearly marked and should be closely followed.

 

METHOD of MARKING: - As per TSR 22b; (no stop). Ties will be resolved as per TSR 23

 

PROTESTS: - as per the National Sporting Code of the ACU, section 10.0

A chuck waggon will be at the event.
