The 2015 FIM Europe Trial Championship got underway today with the Italian venue of Pietramurata playing host to the opening round. In the main Youth Championship Class, Britain's Toby Martyn (Beta) took top honours by a five point margin over Sergio Piardi (Beta) of Italy with another Brit in the form of Jack Peace (Gas Gas) filling the remaining podium place.
In the Ladies Championship, Italian Sara Trentini (Sherco) made the most of her home advantage to take the opening win on a score of thirty three to German Theresa Bauml's (OSSA) core of forty five.
