A Sunny Sunday morning saw 47 riders converged on Parkinsons Farm Goulceby for round 5 of the Club Championship. Mick Ash emerged as Trial winner dropping a measly 4 marks with 2nd place man Andrew Webbe unusually creeping in to double figures, m ost marks lost on section 8 in both cases. The Intermediate route saw Steve Fewster have a great ride on the big Matchless the only rider on this route to remain on single figures with the sandy climb on section 3 and the muddy gully on 5 proving the mark takers for the middle route men. Harold Allen took victory on the clubman route on the big four-stroke BSA with Andrew Laycock not too far behind on the his Bantam.
