2012 Lakes Two Day Trial
The organisers can now confirm that for 2012 it is “ Back to the future” for the Lakes Two Day. Over recent years we have concentrated around the village of Ulpha with sections in the area being used on both days. This has lead to a cluttered feeling to the point where we felt we needed to spread out. With this in mind, we have co operated with the Bootle Club and gone back to the original 1970’s route for the Saturday taking in such classic as Windy Slack, Bootle Fell ( Known to many as Avalanche) Buckbarrow Bridge and Kaiser Beck.
Riders are asked to note that a “splash and dash” fuel stop may be needed
We are looking forward to this immensely and hope the riders will enjoy even more of our wonderful scenery
Sunday route has been slightly modified but remains largely the same.
