Following the success of last year's Susan Harris Memorial Trial which raised over £1200 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer in memory of Loughborough and Midland Centre Trials supporter Susan Harris the club intend to have a bigger and better event this year to honour Susan and raise money for charity, this year on 17-18th August.
This year the club are planning a two day event with camping available on the Saturday and once again they are looking to use the full scope of the Riley's railway and Vickers Farm venues to give a long (off road) lap of 20 sections to be ridden twice. The Saturday event will use some of the sections in reverse and is intended to be a more "fun and social" trial. Riders signing on for both days will get a discount and there will be awards and a raffle to make as much money as possible for Charity.
The club would like to get sponsors for all 20 sections at a minimum donation of £30 and any offers of help with funds, raffle prizes or observers would be welcome to make sure the trial raises as much as possible for good causes in memory of Susan, please contact the club on 01530 222082 or via the website if you can help, or leave a message on the club page on Facebook.
