The team at Moto Trial NI are delighted to announce the venue for the 1st round of the 2014/2015 ‘Winter Series’ will be held @ Shague Hill, Dundrum, by very kind permission from the Steele family! This is an excellent trials venue with forest sections & open hill-side terrain with the added bonus of some of the best views in Ireland! The venue over looks the Mourne Mountains, Dundrum Bay & surrounding countryside.
We are also looking forward to providing an Oset electric mini bike that the club has purchased to give kids a chance to try our sport! So if you have a child over six, boy or girl who would like to ‘Try Trials’.
The club were delighted with the turn-out at the ‘Shielsberg Fun Trial’ in early August of youth D & E (Electric) class competitors. With a separate 6 section course for the juniors proving a excellent way to get started in trials! So if you have a mini trials bike bring family along for a great day out, all your child needs is some riding boots and crash hat and you're good to go.
The trial will run over four laps of 10 sections with a start time of 11am and we will stagger the start by grade to ease early queuing. Event entry forms will be posted on our website for you to download and fill out out prior to the event .
We will have a toilet on site and hot food van.
This event is on private ground, the club expect all riders and people attending to treat this land with due respect.
