It was the next round of the 2014 British Trials Championship in South Wales at the weekend at the great Aberdulais quarry organised by the experienced Neath Motor Club where the day was helped by glorious sunny weather.
James Dabill won again so congrats again to him and Beta. No.1 JSTGGUK rider Michael Brown was an easy second but a nightmare second lap ruined any chance of the win. He matched Dibs on laps one and three but his second lap was a disaster. Michael is now 9 points behind with two rounds to go so although its not over yet, things are looking for Dibs to regain the BTC crown.
JST GGUK rider Wiggy had an off day in 5th but is still third in the Championship which is where he needs to stay.
Next JST rider was Sam Haslam who was 6th and is now a fairly safe 6th in the Championship.
So we didn’t win, but three GG riders in the top 6 is still good!
R+T GG rider Jack Price was 13th.
JSTGGUK rider Dan Thorpe was 15th after his 5 days of riding out in France.
JSTGGUK Youth start Dan Peace won the Youth Class again.
