The Southern Experts National was run today at the infamous Butser Lime Works venue near Petersfield where the Hookwood Trials Club laid out a course consisting of 3 laps of 12 sections.
Sam Haslam showed true class in adapting very well to the changing conditions throughout the day finishing ahead of Sam Connor and Alexz Wigg heading up a strong Expert field.
The supporting Clubmen route was topped once again by mud maestro Dave Clinkard who seems to get better with age! Jonathan Bannister won a very tightly fought battle in the Youth A category where the little 125 machines struggled with the big climbs.
Rupert and Chris Kimber easily won the Sidecar Expert class with Phil Sparkes and Joe Newman clinching victory in the Sidecar Clubmen.
