West Leeds Trials UK White Rose Trial

west leeds motor clubSunday dawned bright and clear, the day of this year's Trials UK White Rose Trial was blessed with fine and dry weather with a few spells of autumnal sunshine. However, the previous day, heavy rain had soaked the marking out party and the course. This had left the moorland in sopping wet condition as evidenced by the state of the bikes and riders as they were pulling back into the start area having completed the first half of the event. Despite the wet going many riders made the comment that they had thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Richard Sadler blitzed the opposition by losing just seven marks over the course and going 24 sections clean before losing a mark. Philip Alderson does it again and wins the 50/50 route for the sixth time. On the clubman route Roman Kyrnycky came out best by a reasonable margin over his nearest rival.
