Grassington motor engineer John Maxfield won the coveted Greenwood Trophy on Sunday at Whitegate Farm high on Cartworth Moor where forty one riders competed for awards in two categories and five different classes. It was no easy ride for Maxy with Pre-65 Scottish winner Tony Calvert and Falcon's hot Velocette rider Chris Haigh aiming for the main silverware.
