The eagerly awaited regulations and entry form for the Cumbria Classic Club's incredibly popular Nostalgia Trial are now available from the trial secretary Mike Rapley and can be downloaded from the attached file below and also from the August calendar announcement. All last years riders with legible addresses will receive a copy of the regulations and entry form in the post.
The date of this year's trial is SATURDAY, August 20 at its regular venue, Holme Farm, Middleton near Sedbergh, Cumbria with a start time of 10am. Whilst the venue can't have changed, there will be a new face looking at how and where the sections are planned to ensure that the trial remains as fresh as possible whilst using the venue to its best.
Entries will close on Monday, August 15 so ensure that your application to take part is in the post and will be received in plenty of time. There will be NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY.
The format remains the same, two laps of 20 sections using punch cards with the results available at the finish where the prize presentation will quickly take place. There are seven classes available which cover all variants of pre 65 and twin-shock trials machines and whilst there will be no scrutineering of machinery please ride a bike that is in the spirit of the sport.
