Stafford Auto Club Milwich Trial

A very unusually sunny day at Milwich for one of our trials saw a decent entry of nearly 50 riders

Sam Yeomans blitzed the expert route on 1 mark lost, Darren Jones just pipped Pete Ruscoe for the runner up spot, both posting decent scores on some difficult sections.

On the medium route Rob Badland took a comfortable win from Harry Hall with Alan Miles on the Chase TY220 prototype taking a very respectable 3rd place. That's a combined age of about 180 ???? filling the podium. Where are the young challengers?

On the 50/50 route Phil Hulme took a good win on his Yam mono, a fair margin ahead of Matt Spink who put in a good ride on his Beamish Suzuki to take runner up.

On the easy route, which wasn't so easy this time due to a couple of sections cutting up much worse than expected, Phil Moore took the win but would have been pushed much closer by Ian Brittain on his very original Royal Enfield had it not been suffering a few running issues.

So thanks again to all riders for the support, observers and helpers who assisted take down the sections afterwards

Next trial is 11th June.
