There was plenty of grip at a dry Breakheart Quarry for the second round of the Western Center Championship, leading to a low scoring competition. In the expert class section 8 took most marks. The no stop rule caught out the winner Kurt Brain on his first visit, but thereafter a single dab meant an almost exemplary ride. Former Center Champion Simon Welch, after a break from riding, quickly dusted off the cobwebs to finish a close second. Tom Culliford took third spot.
