More new riders for Sherco
MRS are delighted to hear the news that the Sherco factory have now obtained the services of Pol Tarres, who is recognised as the brightest young talent to come out of Spain in the last few years. Everyone at MRS would like to welcome Pol to the Sherco family and with Cabestany as lead rider and Alex Ferrer already signed, the future really does look secure for the factory.
Following on from the news that MRS have signed British Championship contender Ricky Wiggins and youth rider Tom Hooper the Sherco UK importers are delighted to announce the signing of two more British Championship riders.
First on the list is Ben Sprigg, one of the top Midland centre riders, who now has possession of his new 305 Sherco and will be riding under the banner of MRS during 2013. Secondly, the lovable ‘Scouscer’ Josh Woods, who has spent the weekend with Ricky Wiggins, will be picking up his 305 during the next two weeks and will be contesting all the major events in 2013 for MRS.
Over in Northern Ireland there is quite a club of 305 Sherco riders now. Andy Perry, who has won nearly every Irish Championship round to date, is joined by Gareth ‘The Bull’ Andrews and the young rider Jonathan Lunney who has already had some brilliant results on the Sherco.
In the UK Triple D’s rider Darren Brice will be fully committed next year after taking a year out with the unexpected arrival of Brice Junior at the start of the year along with Triple D employee Will Brockbank who is once again flying the Sherco flag next year.
Exciting news for MRS is the return of the Army team to Sherco for 2013. Sandy Mack, who was recently voted on to the Scottish ACU as the General Manager has confirmed details and recently picked up a 125 for his own son Stuart who will be contesting the Scottish and British Championship B class next year.
MRS have made a commitment to secure top centre riders throughout the country and, so far, their plans are falling nicely into place. Riders who compete every week, whilst flying the Sherco flag, are the ones MRS would like to have on board for 2013. We would just like to say a big thank you to anyone not mentioned but who has been riding for us year on year. We never underestimate the good this does to the brand and appreciate every single one of them.
Last, but certainly, not least we would like to say a very big thank you for the continued support of GE Brown & Son, Michelin Tyres and Doodsons Motosport. Without the invaluable help of these companies it would be impossible for MRS to pass on this support to their riders
