As the organisation of the Pre’65 Scottish Trial is now well underway the Committee are delighted to announce that we are fortunate enough to still have Putoline Motorcycle Oils as our main supporter as well as Day Sponsors, Clark Commercials, Edinburgh on Friday and Hope Technology on Saturday.
The Guest of Honour for 2015 will be Mr Jackie Williamson. He was a multiple Scottish Champion and one of Scotland’s best known trials riders.
Following the success of the inaugural Parade of Riders around the streets of Kinlochleven last year, the committee have decided to keep this spectacle for another year with a view to making it an annual attraction. This was enjoyed immensely by the majority of riders as well as their followers and the local community.
If you haven’t been to this event before, it is well worth coming to. There are many interesting machines taking part along with wonderful camaraderie with friends old and new, fantastic scenery and a local community that welcomes us into their village so get the weekend of Friday 1 and Saturday 2 May 2015 into your diary and come and enjoy some nostalgia.
Lastly a reminder to all those riders lucky enough to get a ride in the 2015 trial who haven’t paid yet, please remember that to secure your entry you need to pay and return your entry reply form no later than Friday 27 February 2015. Anyone who hasn’t paid by this date risks having their entry withdrawn and their riding number allocated to the next reserve rider.
