22nd & 23 June 2013
This weekend Earl Shilton Trials Club will host their annual 2-day charity trial. The trial will start at 1500hrs on the Saturday and 1030hrs on the Sunday. The usual overnight camping is available on the field ajacent to the sections (lets hope for better weather than last year) with toilet facilties and catering. We will be laying on 15 sections for the main trial and a conducted route for the D class and electric bikes. The main route will have 4 courses laid out which will cater for Expert, Intermediate, Novice, Youth A,B & C, Over 50, Over 40, Twin Shock, Pre 65 (any I have missed we cater for?)
This is a Charity event in support of ''Bike Tours for the Wounded'' which helps wounded and injured servicemen ride as pillions on Route 66, this shows them that through their injuries (many are amputees) that they can do activities that may take them out of their comfort zone and lead a normal life as possible.
These people have given so much to our country so we can enjoy riding trilas at weekends so Please, please come along and show your support.
**Please Note** Parking will be in the field and will be sign posted, no parking on the trials ground unless too wet? |
