 ay Trial - will take place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th of April 2016. 
 The first Wight Open trial was held way back in 1947. Last year saw the ret
 urn to the original format - that included roadwork.\n \nThe Wight Two Day 
 has attracted some very well-known names over the years, most notably, Samm
 y Miller, who took the title no less than seven times. Sammy remains the ri
 der with most wins spanning from his first title in 1967 to his last win in
  1977. Home grown, Becky Cook, the only winning female rider to date, won t
 he title in 2008, Becky went on to take successive British & European trial
 s Championships.\n \nThe Club took the decision to reintroduce road work la
 st year, (for some riders) in preparation for next year, which will be the 
 50th, Golden Anniversary Trial. The Club thought it important to celebrate 
 this milestone (that very few Club's will have achieved) just as it began, 
 back 'on the road'. We are looking forward to a bumper entry in 2017. There
  will of course be the usual all 'off road trial' that will run in tandem a
 longside thos riders opting to include roadwork.\n \nRed Funnel Ferries are
  once again supporting our trial, kindly, offering discounted return ferry 
 fares for those travelling from the 'bigger Isle'. Full details are availab
