The Cheadle (Staffs) Auto Club will be running the next of their 2016 Tr ials on Sunday 3 July. The trial will cater for all classes of machine and for all grades of rider from Novice and Beginners to Expert as well as Twin shock, British Bike over 40s , Youth A and B.
The trial will be "Stop Permitted"
The Summer trial will be at Hermitage Farm near Ipstones, Staffordshire, set in the heart of the picturesque Staffordshire Moorlands . The course will be aimed at giving everyone a good days sport and all rid ers will have a choice of either the Championship sections or the easier Cl ubman's ones. All sections will have dual routes, with all riders having th e option to ride a 50/50 route if they wish to. The harder sections will be for the better riders and the easier for those wanting a less demanding ro ute at the popular Hermitage venue which is situated one mile south of Ipst ones village on the B5053 road. Start time is 10.30 am and entries will, as usual, close on the day.
This year the club will be running a club c hampionship series with points being awarded on each of the routes at all o f the trials. Trophies will be awarded to the first three at the conclusion of the series.

The Cheadle Auto Club has again abolished member ship fees for 2016 so anyone wanting to ride in one of their trials can tur n up on the day and simply pay the entry fee and be given free membership o f the club. You will still need to hold an ACU licence which can be obtaine d at the trial but apart from that there will be no fuss and no extra cost to you. This will continue to be the clubs policy in 2016 in order to try t o keep costs to the riders to a minimum.
