 ong></p><p> </p><p>The North West Air Ambulance, a service used by the enti
 re community, has benefitted to the tune of more than £1000 from Lancs Coun
 ty since the club decided to donate proceeds from the New Year's Day Trial 
 to the charity and the club is hoping to boost that sum by even more follow
 ing the 2013 running of the event on January 1 at Low Gill, off the Bentham
  to Slaidburn road.</p><p> </p><p>Parking for this trial will be alongside 
 the road where riders would normally park for our February trial, but the c
 ourse, instead of being on the land on the lower side of the road, is now o
 n the higher side. This has been used previously  but not for a good many y
 ears. The club has had to move to this venue as it's about the only land th
 at appears to be available to us in the current wet conditions. The locatio
 n shown is not quite accurate, it's actually about 400 meters further south
  than the postcode shown.</p><p> </p><p>The club runs this trial over a sin
 gle, sensible clubman style course with everybody riding the same sections 
 - just as it was many years ago - and it works well. Start time is 11am, ca
 tering will be available and the trial will be over four laps of ten sectio
 ns.</p><p> </p><p> </p>
