The Cheadle (Staffs) Auto Club will be running the second of their 2017 Trials on Sunday 19 March starting at 10:30am. The trial will cater for all classes of machine and for all grades of rider from Novice and Beginners t o Expert as well as Twinshock, British Bike over 40s , Youth A and B.
The trial will be “Stop Permitted”
The Winter trial will be at Hermi tage Farm near Ipstones, Staffordshire, set in the heart of the picturesque Staffordshire Moorlands. The course will be aimed at giving everyone a goo d days sport and all riders will have a choice of either the Championship s ections or the easier Clubman’s ones. All sections will have dual routes, w ith all riders having the option to ride a 50/50 route if they wish to. The harder sections will be for the better riders and the easier for those wan ting a less demanding route at the popular Hermitage venue which is situate d one mile south of Ipstones village on the B5053 road. Start time is 10.30 am and entries will, as usual, close on the day.
This year the club will be running a club championship series with points being awarded on eac h of the routes at all of the trials. Trophies will be awarded to the first three at the conclusion of the series.

The Cheadle Auto Club has again abolished
membership fees for 2017 so anyone wanting to ride in one of their trials c
an turn up on the day and simply pay the entry fee and be given free member
ship of the club. You will still need to hold an ACU licence which can be o
btained at the trial but apart from that there will be no fuss and no extra
cost to you. This will continue to be the clubs policy in 2017 in order to
try to keep costs to the riders to a minimum.
