On Sunday 28th April Hull Auto Club will run their Open Dave Summer Tria
l for the Kennington Cup, the first or their two Farndale 2- lap charity tr
ials set on great trials land in the beautiful valley of Farndale in the mi
dst of the Yorkshire Moors.
As the trial is in aid of the Farnd
ale Village Hall Fund, landowners have allowed us to link 3 adjacent farms
to give 2 laps of 20 or more varied sections with a great ride round all of
f road.
It is an OPEN, enter on the day trial for all Adult & Youth A & B (no youth C) solos with routes for Experts, Intermediates, Clubman A a nd Clubman B, twin shocks ride Clubman B route. This event also incorporate s the East Yorks Centre Adult, Clubman and twin-shock Championship rounds a nd Inter Club Team Trial.
There will not be a white route at this ven ue but there will be a conducted D & E route adjacent to the start field
For insurance purposes, the ACU requires us to tighten up on licence ch ecks, so remember to present your Violet 2019 trials licence when entering; otherwise it’s an extra £3 for a One Event Trials Registration
Membe rs of the village hall committee will be selling the normal butties and hot drinks after the event –free to all observers/helpers.
The start is at 10.30 prompt at Wether Hill Farm, Farndale, Kirkbymoorside, North Yorks, YO62 7LA. Flagged from the Hutton le Hole to Castleton road, down Blakey Ba nk to Church Houses, then across to the West side. Only use the flagged rou te into Farndale.
Please allow ample time to get to the venue and ent
er well before the 10:30 start, as the route from Blakey Ridge is narrow an
d long.
