The first evening trial by the club has traditionally begun at Bainsbeck Farm, Arkholme, LA6 1BA and this is again the venue of this year's opening round which will be on May 15 with a 6pm start time. Unfortunately there w ill not be any catering there as Terry has still not recovered well enough to driave and Sandra can't leave work in time, but entries will be ta ken at the start, the fee for all classes being £16 except for any conducte d youths who only need to pay £10. It will be four laps of 10 sections with the option to ride only two laps if you are a newcomer to the sport. Any c onducted youths can choose any four or five sections to ride multiple times with the parents managing the group.
As previously, there will be a normal, fairly easy clubman course and a dead easy beginners/returnees cour se, so whatever your ability, make May 15 evening a date in your diary for a good ride out.
