Lancs County are hosting round 2 of the club's own Sunday series in conjunction with round 2 of the DCR/Michelin sponsored North West Centre Ch ampionship. The trial, over four laps of ten sections will be held at the e xcellent New Hey Farm, Whitewell venue which is about a mile from Dunsop Br idge in the Trough of Bowland.
The land at this venue is excellent fo r our sport with a great mix of stream sections and several muddy banks tog ether with a decent hillclimb - especially if the hill is wet.
And fo r the first time, Kiaran Hankin together with Andy Reeves, Ben Butterworth and Matthew Alpe (on whose land the trial is held) will be plotting the sec tions.
They have some new ideas for this trial but whilst the hard co urse hazards may well be quite difficult, the clubman course sections will again be at normal Lancs County standards, allowing for the nature of the l and of course. Certainly, previous trials at this venue have been very good .
Now please bear in mind that this trial is on GOOD FRIDAY, March 29 with a 10.30am start.
Clubman, Green course (50/50) and Clubman are all welcomewith entries taken at the start and of course c atering will be available thanks to the club's regular caterer Dave Matthew s, better known as Martha.
