  1. Didn't really see a suspension sub forum so hope its ok to ask here.

I am installing some tech forks on my GG.   My question is i noticed the rebound fork right side (no spring )   when installed without the fender  extends way more then the left fork.   Is this normal ?

    thanks in advance

  2. Hi im trying to reduce compression on my 2020 txt 280 and look like it's a 1 piece head so no insert.

I've decided to do with a head spacer but can't find them.

Can someone recommend where they are available.

    Thanks!

  3. somethings just never end like this bike rebuild of mine😫😫

ok here is my problem and really hope someone can help me with guidance.

My rear wheel hub and spokes were replaced. When my axle is equal distance from the swingarm bolt the wheel pulls front left hitting the chain guide.

So im thinking of 2 possible mistakes.

    1. the new spoke come short and long is it possible they used the long spoke on short side and short spoke on long side?

    2. the complete wheel is off and all spokes need to be loosened on one side and tightened on the other

  4. This is my 1st trials bike so guess before i go crazy ill ask here.  2002 txt pro AJP front brake caliper and master. Caliper is rebuilt all pistons coming out evenly and release correctly. Brakes were reverse bleed with a syringe with no issues.

My question and what im not sure about is how are trials brakes supposed to feel? I know the clutch is totally different but what about the front brake?

Seem like there is a lot more movement before it locks which seems to be about 1.25" before the grip..

Brakes are good but the lever has a lot more movement than a enduro bike.

  5. So my shock i assume original is leaking oil and  the rod looks worn etc.  I hate to keep throwing money in but im committed.  Anyways i see a new sachs shock available on ebay which is going to be around 150.00 usd shipped.  Is anyone familiar with it BT300003013 SACHS shock or have a alternative suggestion

Would have been built end of 2001 if it’s an 02 model.

ok i just thought the last 4 numbers were the sequential chasis number so #2861 which doesn't seem like 2001 but makes sense

the reason for this post is some parts don't fit exactly correct

The extra washer should not be there. There should be a washer in between the kickstart shaft and the outer casing, but I am not sure if this should be 0.5 or 1.0mm thick, have a look on the parts list description, as the "extra" washer may be from there. Bye, Peter B.

    Hi thanks for the help

definitely not the kickstart washer which is very thin.

This is very thick and seems someone might have been trying to fix something the wrong way i just dont know what they were trying to fix

  8. I need help please this clutch was frozen and when i dissatisfied it i lost the order of the clutch bearing and my setup seems like it has a extra washer that's not in the parts manual.

The manual has a ridged washer that rides on the fingers then the bearing. Mine has a extra shown in the attached picture.

  9. Hi i believe this bike is a 2004 txt 280. I have no spark and tested between the light blue and dark blue with a reading of 326ohm.  The stator has a G2 marking if that makes a difference. Also the casing has a decent amount of corrosion similar to a boat anode.

any input or suggestions what values should be and if this is even the correct stator for this bike?

    Thanks in advance
