  1. Ask Ryan at spiral grafix. They did the sandiford honda 4rt graphics so have the outline and can do anything you’d like. They don’t have much on their website but fire over an email. You’ll be impressed and the only limitation is your own imagination.
  2. Ok. Here’s what I did. fitted lanyard switch. No problem. Wouldn’t start. looked for a while and what I had inadvertently done was, upon tightening the cdi to ground wire. (Black/white) pulled a pin out the cdi socket. took a while to diagnose and well worth a look in case it happened to you. to fix, I pulled out pin. Gently crimped then inserted using a fair sized paper clip wire. good luck
  3. I find Clice trials pants very generous in size and all day comfy
  4. Just finished Graham Jarvis’s book. I really enjoyed it and there was a good bit on trials in there and how much Malcom Rathmell helped him. Very positive on the sport of trials. Well worth a read
  5. Well done. Great work. Croatia is a beautiful country so you should have some very nice places to ride.
  6. What boot would fit a larger calf muscle. Asking for a friend. ? size 45
  7. Spiral Grafix have the templates for them. They don’t advertise them online but fire them an email and tell em what you want. Quick turn around and great value.
  8. Is it still available to buy new?
  9. Valves within spec. No discernible signs of wear despite 100+ hours. Hoping this spring stops the tapping.
  10. Just going through this now. Trying to find the problem. Dropped the motor but not had it on the bench yet. Will report back my findings
  11. In my experience and I’ve done a couple of training days. Stuart Day of https://www.trials-school.co.uk/ would get my vote. His teaching manner and enthusiasm is both encouraging and effective plus I’ve personally witnessed fellow club riders ability improved through his teachings. Also for an introduction to the sport the professionalism of his setup and availability of machines to hire and learn on make for an unrivalled facility
  12. Is the disk bent at all?
  13. The rubber inlet manifold is not great. Inspect for any cracks or poor fitting.
  14. 5th gear and turn the gas. They have a cv carb. Works very well. The hot start lever if not home properly will make the bike run unevenly. Likewise if the choke is not fully down will make it run awful. Run the machine in then look to getting the bosi tailpipe. Improves the power.
  15. It does with valve springs but that's more to do with the added inertia of the denser coils I guess. Not that a Fantic has valve springs. So I don't know. See above, not a bad idea.
  16. Beta only for the mudguard regarding fitment. There will be little difference in the price between the various beta parts providers unless one of them have the item in stock.

    Elstar

Just bought an Ajax top end to have a mess with. Undecided what frame to put it in. Going kempton tomorrow to have a look what's about.
  18. I bought a bike with one fitted. Was impressed given all that I'd heard.
  19. I rode in Tenerife whilst on holiday. Great day.
  20. 661 gel pads. Used them for cycling, trials and enduro and tested against a 4t exhaust. No injury. 5 star product. Wouldn't leave home without them.
  21. I get a rush every time I start my beta. When she goes in gear will she jump forward and run away or will I be ok! Applying front brake as a precaution is just too safe.
  22. Ball ended Allen key. Hopefully it would have been put in with a bit of grease previously. Cylinder can be removed but radiator needs moving to make way.
