  1. Never owned a 250 before, Only had a go on one once, I found the 250 nice and smooth, As were the 290/300 wants to go a bit more, The throttle response is a bit more aggressive on the bottom end, But I found swapping from the 290 to the 300 was different, The 300 seemed slightly less snappy but had more low down torque, Which I found better to be honest, You need to try them to know which you prefer best,
  2. Yes you can do it, All is required is to drill a hole through the mudguard at the front for it to bolt down, The air filter lid fits perfect with no mods required. I recommend cutting down the plastic edge at the front that you are left with, As sometimes It can be annoying when you wear waterproof pants.
  3. The 290/300 Evo's are high compression, So they take more starting than the 250 does, But you don't need to have both feet up to kick it over if you have a strong enough kick. When I switched from my 2010 290, To the 300, I found it was a little harder to kick over.

    Beta 4T 300 Fan

It's located in the wiring loom near the carb, I think it's to the left hand side tucked in near the frame, If I remember correctly. The capacitor you need is 4700uf 25v, Or you can use a high voltage, On our bike we have a 35v one fitted, Only difference is the fan spins a bit quicker, You can buy them from Maplin or eBay, Or any decent electrical shop, They are about £1 If it is the capacitor that has gone wrong, The fuel tap won't work on the correct position (Upwards) either, Check for this.
  5. It does only fit the 2T, Not the 4 stroke, The Impellor will probably be the same, But the spacer for the casing is different, We run a 2010 Evo 300 4t, And never had any problems with the pump or overheating,
  6. Beta say 550ml, But I always put 500ml In, Never had any problems.
  7. Just had the exact same problem with our 2010 evo 4t, Fan and electronic fuel tap wouldn't work, Discovered that it was down to the capacitor in the wiring loom, They cost about £1.00! You can get them from Maplin or eBay the one you need is a 4700uf 25V, Or you can use a higher voltage. As said above it is basically a battery
  8. You can buy one from here, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Hebo-FUEL-TANK-1000CC-CLEAR-Fits-Behind-Front-Number-Plate-Board-Beta-/181369780014?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item2a3a7b372e
  9. I know, I emailed Ian@ Trials & tribulations, and he said the same thing, Only available as the kit, Which is what it says on the 14 parts list, But I will contact Lampkins in a while to see when they get them in stock, Usually the decal costs more than the cover itself!
  10. Looks good, I just bought a 2014 mudguard for my bike as well! I to couldn't get the decal for the cover, Lampkins didn't have any 14 ones and on the parts diagram it isn't listed separately, Let me know if you manage to get one.
  11. I've got a white 2013 one on my 11 bike, Lines up fine, But it does need the extra hole at the front for the support, Just make sure you mark it spot on before drilling, Also you have the benefit of easy access to the air filter, But the lid will probably be extra!
  12. You could try the Genuine 2014 Beta mudguard which is black, I don't think the TTT one is available any more. You can modify the new mudguard to fit an older Evo, By drilling a 6mm hole at the front. http://trialstribulations.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=33&products_id=2486
  13. I've done a few jetting changes to my 300, But it will be run fine on standard settings
  14. Definitely go for the oiled brown ones, Best boots I have ever owned by far, And I recommend using Gaerne's own leather wax which is brilliant, Keep them looking like new!
  15. Haha, Good one. I can't see it being any of the top five riders, Gubian sounds likely, and possibly Challoner.
  16. Rear's are 6004 2RS, Front's are 61904 2RS.
  17. Here you go, More photos & Spec http://www.trial-club.com/webzine-trial/actualites/2013/twenty/
  18. Use Lighter springs instead, I think S3 sell them, Don't take any out or else the clutch will slip at mid/high rpm.
  19. As above I would try Amercian Beta, They are really good & will probably know about the 300 performance kit, Failing that I would maybe try Bosi in Italy, I think If I'm right they have it listed on there website, If it was no longer produced surely they wouldn't still advertise it. I personally can't see why Beta would stop making them.
  20. Looks good, That pipe will fit no problem, It's the old style one you have to modify, The clutch cover looks really nice as well.
  21. You can make it fit by putting a dent in the back and use a countersunk bolt instead, It may fit the 2013 differently, I'm not sure, But you are probably best comparing it up to the bike when you get it to see what you need to modify.

    4 Stroke

They do still make them but they are special order only, Rathmells can probably order one if you wanted one, Can't see why you would want to buy one though, There a bloody awful bike, Worst bike I've ever ridden in my opinion.
  23. Hi, First pic is the old shape pipe, If you look at the top bend you can see it is different to the new one, This is so it clears the engine mounting, Although it is very close to the small screw that holds the tank panel on my bike, Not sure what it's like on the 2013 bike. When I swapped mine to the newer bend I did find that it increased performance slightly on the bottom end.
  24. I had the same problem with my front pipe, It fit the 2010 bike fine, But the 2011 bike, The motor was mounted further foward, So I had to dent the back of the pipe slightly and swap the bolt to a countersunk one, Bosi eventually brought out a new one to fit, Which I have just swapped mine to recently, Didn't know the new one wouldn't fit the 2013 bike.
  25. I think it is SFS Hoses who make them http://www.sfsperformance.co.uk/, But I'd of thought any custom hose company will be able to make them if you send the OEM one off to them.
