  2. Quick update - we are still working on the coatings, a sample should be coming back today, then we'll go from there. Still working on it, just taking up far more time than I expected. Joe
  3. A mint 2004 315r would be a good investment. The trouble is people opinions on mint. That one on eBay I was tempted to put a bid in.
  4. Franck, stunning photos. You are very lucky to have that area to ride in. That frame really is a work of art.
  5. Hello Richard. The bike was bought from Tokyo through someone I know from previous dealings. I've been on the look out for a good while. Regards, Joe
  6. Hello Richard, There all made - still testing sample pieces to get the final coating right. If I'm honest its been a nightmare. I've lost count of the amount I've had done plus I seem to be constantly let down by people regarding the coatings. The making of them was probably the easy bit looking back. They are all made, Just a case of getting the final bit right. I'll be getting pictures tomorrow of the final samples I've had done. I'll update from there. I'm going across for a meeting on Friday afternoon aswell. Many thanks, Joe
  7. Im bloody well chuffed. Been holding out for the right one. 3 weeks - currently on way over from Japan. Going to be a long wait. When I get a moment I'll be putting in French doors in the lounge so it'll live in the house. Just need to make them first!
  8. Apologies, my computer crashed while uploading so didn't finish the post. Yeah, just bought it.

  12. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-NOS-RTl250RA-1989-Kickstarter-Shaft-/282020924135?hash=item41a9c1cae7:g:3uQAAOSwn1RXIy4f Last one left.
  13. All been well they should be finished back end of next week, I'll keep you informed. Yes, heat shield will be done similar to the factory bikes. I looked at it a few months ago and It wouldn't be that hard to do.
  14. Going to the anodisers tomorrow Also, we were looking / talking about doing a full cover / guard for the silencers which would fit the original ones so you could use them without the risk of damaging them. It would work along the same lines as the picture below. That alloy was welded so to hold the moulds while they were welded together. If you use your imagination. The gap between the silencer and the guard would be around 5mm(not the gap that's currently there) It would also be shaped to the silencer and be bolted using the mudguard mount and also using the clamp. Then would press against the weld so to support and protect incase of impact. Is this something people would be interested in?
  15. I'm chuffed. So much better than what I ever expected. Can't wait to just finish them. If I'm been perfectly honest I am getting slightly sick of seeing RTL silencers.
  16. So all exhausts are finished. I'm awaiting two samples back, once there back and confirmed they will be going for there coating. 4 weeks. Taking about a year, were about there. For those who saw the sample at Telford - these are far better.
