fantic156 Report post Posted January 6, 2007 Silicone dashboard/cockpit shine from your local automotive supplier or halfords if you wont to pay loads for it works well, spray it on count to 20 and polish. Nice and shiny and stays like it until the next wash. Don't get it on the brakes though
jamie stokes Report post Posted January 6, 2007 same with the wd40 get that on the brakes and you have had it
lewis_gasgas Report post Posted January 7, 2007 Hmm i would have thought wd40 makes ur stickers peel if you have any ?? I use that back to black stuff same as car trim stuff although when you sit on ur mudguard especially on gassers becuase they've got a steeper angle you slide rite off lol

madmostin Report post Posted January 7, 2007 hi ya. Glad this subject got a bit of interest. WD40 makes engine come up nice and stops mud sticking for a bit. oh and i'd love to know where to get plastics from for that price! Been quoted silly money for 2nd hand ones. oh and i've found TFR (traffic film remover) with wax makes the bike come up lovely too!
