No.....Just do them as tight as possible by hand, I've never used torque figure as don't own 1 that goes that low, just an experience thing as far as feel. 72 foot/pounds is for crankshaft nut holding on gear. From memory flywheel is around same figure.

Ive got an 08 Beta with rusty mains!! I always run for a while after washing, obviously not long enough!!!

I was wondering which 2 stroke oil you use? I have been using Ipone strawberry flavour stuff which is a tenuous link to Sherco as Ipone is the recomended oil for Shercos :moon:

I just use Castrol TT fully synthetic ....and I didn't see any rust while I was in there.

I have you tied riding your bike 4 times ad day :moon:

Even a Beta is no submarine! I never run the bike after washing till the filter is removed and inspected. You can induce more water and dirt into the motor that way than it would ever get in a trial. :wall:
