Scarboro A And B

In what was generally regarded as one of the best rounds to date this year, despite some fears that the sections were on the hard side all competitors had a great day on tough but fair sections in Harwood Dale.

Jack sheppard scored a predictable win in the A's but his score or rather margin of win shows how well he rode.

results

Sheppard beta 19

Evans Luter GG 60

Sdler Sherco 72

Short GG 73

Brain GG 83

Luke Walker managed his first success of the year in the B's with a clear cut win on the Sherco. His three laps of 11 10 and then an event winning single dab ride worthy of the win. Showing the skill which he has failed to put together with any consistency this year he produced a great result as a reward for all the effort he has put in this year.

Results

Luke walker Sherco 22

gosden GG 26

Howell beta 26

Stay GG 30

Dexter GG 31

Expect the last round in the IOW to be a cracker in a few weeks.

You forgot to mention that Mr Gosden has now won the B class championship,, well done George. And Chris Stay has ridden all year without a minder, an arrangement that was agreed with by JST. So well done Chris it,s all down to you.

After taking worst rides away the championship looks like this Gosden 109 Stay 99 Walker 95 Dexter 88.

Some of the A class sections were borderline as regards safety and a spectator was hurt on 11( Best wishes for a speedy recovery). I did wonder why so many sections ( 1, 4 5, 6 and 7), were manufactured as well. 1 and 6 have been around a while but do they need them when sections from previous years that would have been perfect were not used? This is leading to a loss of riders willing to throw themselves at sections designed to "stop" Jack, (Who looks to have progressed away from the other riders this year). Without those riders there is no competition.

The B class on the other hand has seen a revival as the course's seem to be hitting the Mark. Tough enough and able to sort out the top half dozen.

Sounds as though SDMC have got it right Twice?

Adult British Championship earlier in the year was also from feed back the best round of the year and now the Youth Round also getting the same praise.

Top marks to all the organisers, but most of all the section plotters! you can make a trial tough but fair ! Sections took marks but most enjoyed it :D

A very well done to the Scarborough team, an excellent event, best round of the year to date.

Thanks Guys :D

I asked around and the Praise was not freely flowing for the A course. As I have said the B class course was spot on with close marking right down the order. Asking around the Trial that has most praise this year was the North East Centre one. Otter Vale was also a well rounded Trial despite the long walk between the two block's of sections.
