using the rule of thumb that 1 tooth off the front = approx 3 on the rear, will a bike with say 10 front and 43 rear behave exactly the same as 11 front and 46 rear? or will there be a difference in torque? :rotfl:

Simple maths ratio one is 4.182 the other 4.3 therefore 10 42 is very close to 11 46

yea dabs i know that the ratios are almost identical. my question is more to to with how the power will be delivered ?
