This gives you a lot more room and makes it easier to replace the rubber connector on the back of the carb which is normally very tight. On my bike the BOTTOM sub frame lug on frame,kick start side,hade been removed. This means you only have to remove 4 screws undo the carb rubber and slide subframe and airbox and silencer off in one,very easy )) Hope this helps??
