White frame looks great but for me I prefer silver rims and shiny spokes! There's not many Sherco's in our centre so I'm waiting for Malc to give me a ring! neo Posted August 3, 2010 Report Share Posted August 3, 2010 Why bother?? Why would Sherco redesign the casing like that now instead of going straight to a new engine??? Sure it's great to have "die -cast and machined aluminium in a single cycle" but they didn't really have an issue before...so why now? My guess is that the new case has been designed for fuel injection to get the small end and big end continuously lubricated somehow. Doing this in a 2 stage (years) approach so in 2012 they'll have a fuel injected engine that already has proven reliability for most internal parts. Smart move me thinks. Best of balance.
