b40rt Posted November 1, 2010 Report Share Posted November 1, 2010 Hi all, got a good second hand clutch centre from MartinM (thanks) have put in 3 soft + 3 medium springs along with a 3 way lever Haven't had a proper chance to try it yet but is one finger light, and doesn't seem to slip until 5/6th gear if you drop the clutch. I have removed any ridges on the clutch basket, but read on here somewhere about setting up the adjustment screw on the thrust bearing, but now cant find the info, so would appreciate pointing in the right direction. reginald Posted February 10, 2011 Report Share Posted February 10, 2011 Hi Ross, The guy that owned my tl320 before me used barnett plates and valve springs from a XR600 or 650. With a lubed venhil cable and magura levers - it isnt ty175 light but **** its better than another stock clutch ive tried. No slip in 4,5,6 either... Well worth it for a 1 finger clutch. I have a selection of clutch springs so may swap them later. Just info on setting up the adjuster required. Anybody ?
