selgaeiibbar Posted November 17, 2010 Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 Hi, Is it possible to get a slide for the carburetor fitted to a Yamaha TY 80 circa 1974, and how much would one cost. Also having difficulty cranking with the kick start, only starts to work half to three quarters at the end of it's travel and sometimes can't get it to engage at all....................rob PS. gasgasjools Posted November 18, 2010 Report Share Posted November 18, 2010 (edited) Unfortunately not (carb issue), had the same problem a couple of years back with my son's TY80......had to bite the bullet and purchase a complete new carburetor from Birkettmotosport (birkettmotosportukltd.co.uk).
