Hello All,

What would be the recommended sprocket sizes for a TXT PRO 200.

The bike is new to me and I would like to replace the chain and sprockets as they are warn.

Bike is currently running a 9 on the front and 42 on the rear.

Information on this would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

10/42 standard, but a lot of 200 riders seem to prefer the 9/42 option, your choice really, I'd go for the 9/42 myself.

No problem that's going off memory. I'm new to trials but not bikes that for sure. I have always added teeth to the rear because the angle if the chain might chew up chain sliders if you go too low in the front. Follow?? Just my opinion

Dropping one tooth in the front is about equal to goIng up 2.5 in the rear.

Maybe I've been wrong all my life but I thought it was a simple ratio. If you have 10 on the front and 42 on the rear the ratio is 1:4.2 so going down one tooth on the front would be equal to 4.2 up on the back.

Me too. Except the bit about being wrong all my life, just some of the parts.....
