Hi Jamie,

I have one on my 315R and it's very nice indeed, with loads of feel and power. You'll need a new brake hose with a banjo fitting as well, good opportunity to fit a nice blingy braided one - well, that's what I did.

Honda CRF ones are the same I think.

I have seen this advertised on ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170795668109

I have never been happy with my front brake on my montesa, one minute it has long traveland the next its fine, are these really as good as people say they are?

Are they worth the money and do i just bolt it straight on?

any advice would be great, thanks

From what describe, your front brake needs to be rebuilt. Either the master cylinder seals are gone or the calipers are leaking. Or you are low on fluid.....It is a Grimeca? I would get it working correctly before I spent any money on a Nissin.

Am just fitting one now, I've bought a new one off eBay for £27, just need to find somewhere I can get the banjo bolt from.

B) Sounds like a bargain,can you reveal your seller/source?

Cheers,

Wayne

I want to replace the old grimeca master on my 2001 315. Just broke the lever and the feel of the front brakes is weak. The 4 pot caliper is fine.

Is the replacement part from sandifords compatible with the hose and caliper if its for later montesa's.

It costs 52.99 with postage.
