timp Posted April 18, 2005 Report Share Posted April 18, 2005 With great difficulty! Lay the wheel on a good hard surface. Heavy piece of timber or concrete floor should do the job. Take a good sharp edged bar or cold chisel and big hammer. There is just enough of the inner race of the bearing showing through the spacer/tube that is between the 2 bearings. A good sharp hit moves it but be carefull to knock out evenly. Once it gets moving I put a large socket that is big enough to take the bearing underneath the wheel to give enough space for the bearing to fall out. badass76 Posted April 21, 2005 Report Share Posted April 21, 2005 I Used a dome headed Coach Bolt and placed that on the inner race, it fitted perfectly on the bearing and applied even pressure allowing you to get the bearing out even.
