Howdy folks, long time lurker first time poster!

After spending the better part of a week trying to nut out an electrical problem with my 2013 280i, I have hit a wall.

I was wondering whether some kind soul might have a copy of the service manual (or more specifically the wiring diagram) they could either send me, or point me in the direction for a legit download?

I have tried downloading it from http://www.ossausa.c...arts/tech-tips/ but the file is damaged, and it now appears the site is down...

Most of the referenced links in other threads to the ossa canada site no longer work either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

VERY short version.

I installed the es9v and the bike was starting first kick cold perfectly. After the 4th kick, the switch no longer turned the headlight on.

I checked every part of the es9v loom and the switch still activates the battery terminals.

I took the loom out of the circuit, the bike still starts and the headlight works when running.

Unfortunately the fan no longer kicks in when running. I ran 12v to the fan and it works, shorted the temp sensor when the bike was running which activated the fan, and removed the temp sensor, boiled it in apot and watched the resistance go from 3.1 KOhms down to 200 ohms.

While testing (during which time the bike remained a pig to start cold), the kill switch decided to pack it in. It hesitated a couple of prior times when turning off before simply not working at all.

This leads me to conclude (with my somewhat limited understanding) that there is a faulty/shorted earth somewhere.

It is now at the dealer who have always bent over backwards to help me since I am so new at trials, but I would have liked to figure it out myself...

Thanks for any help guys
