Hi rhayaderman,

Mike, what was the name of this section in the Elan valley when it was used in the British Experts?

Secondly can anyone recognise the rider and give us his name and bike?

You have got me - are we sure it is the Elan Valley?

Enjoy.

Hi rhayaderman,

Well if not the Elan, one of the nearby - say Claerwen?

I'm going by the construction with those 'footholds' built out of the wall face that were used to place the legs of the cranes that lifted the other stones in place - you don't often see that form of construction in other places!

Cheers

Deryk.

Malcolm Bates informs me that it is Caban Dam.Incidentally the"Classic Experts" will be run by the Bates Family on 11th October this year.Mike.

Many thanks for that - when you see any of the many Bates, please give them my best wishes.

Cheers

Deryk
