Evo Fuel Filter

There is a plastic filter gauze fitted to the top end of the tap, in the tank. Well worth dropping the tap out and giving it a clean after the first few months use.

I got my 2014 300 at three months old, after it had been ridden to twelfth place in the SSDT. One of the first things I did was drop the tap out and give the filter a clean. You will be surprised how much cr-p will be on it.

I was impressed with the tank filter on the 13 model. It's about 3in. long.

I wasn't so impressed with the leaky petcock.

Didn't your Beta importer replace it on warranty?

Must say that here in the UK, John Lampkin imports have always been very helpful with all the Beta's I have owned.

Helpfull is an understatement when talking Beta USA and Jackscycles in Maine.

The leaky petcock was the first of a long list of parts replaced under a non-exsisting warranty on a year old competition bike that I bought used.

Those two entities have cemented me into a lifetime fan of Beta.
