scorpatic Report post Posted February 15, 2015 Does anyone know the correct procedure for reducing the springiness of the front end? I am enamoured of the plushness in the Repsol 4RT and know it wont get there but can the ossa be easily softened? thoughts?
canada280i Report post Posted February 15, 2015 Never tested a repsol so can't compare but I personally don't find the ossa front springy. I would start with the simple things like check the oil levels and bleed any air out via the bleed screws
scorpatic Report post Posted February 16, 2015 I bleed it after use and theres a wee hiss but the manual makes no recommendations re reducing compression and rebound for weight etc
longlegscanbeuseful Report post Posted February 16, 2015 Have a read through some of the Gasgas manuals which have similar Marzocchi forks. http://www.trialspartsusa.com/tech.html
baldilocks Report post Posted February 16, 2015 I find the forks have too much compression damping for my weight. Change the fork oil to 2.5 weight in the left leg , i find this helps
