  • His days riding World Trial
  • His years as the Spanish Fantic importer sponsoring Amos Bilbao and others.
  • Stories of his years minding for top riders and his views on riders mind set and the way he over comes problems.
  • His massive experience running the most successful Trials club in Spain.
  • His views on modern trials !!
  • His time with the new Ossa as competition manager and why he had to leave.

Subi is the best! Great rider, great friend. We did the Spanish Championship and SSDT together in 1976.  Fantastic mechanic and development rider . We traveled in a Seat sedan and trailer. We had several flat tires. No problem. Subi put a new inner tube in using just a set of motorcycle tires levers.

Another brilliant interview James.

Cheers, Martin

HMMNN ... a 240 there without lower frame rails and a radial head ...

I may have to get his contact info from you when I start the teardown on my 240/300 swap to send him some photo's of the few different things on my 240 , to find out if it was one of his ... 'cause it sure ain't quite normal .... And it's origins are kinda blurred ...

Thanks Again James for the work you put into these FANTASTIC interveiws .

Glenn ,

Gotta go load up and give the bike a once over , I get to go compete tomorow !! :)

Anyone know why Fantic (and some other manufacturers) use a numbering system that does not match the bikes cc? I found this a bit irritating.

UMMM , Drunk Italian marketing guys out to confuse the world and parts people ????
