japes1275 Report post Posted December 16, 2015 So a non Pre 65 'Otter(?)' is ok but my real BSA C15 isn't? Who does this Martin bloke think he is?! My 'sorry you didn't make it' letter arrived this morning but I'm not bitter, honest!
jonboy883 Report post Posted December 16, 2015 Is he bringing a camera crew? Perhaps......"Our Guy in Scotland"! What an excellent way to promote, what is, our excellent sport. It can only further the message and perhaps the image and understanding.

2stroke4stroke Report post Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) Yeah, the first programme shows him at the "factory" where he collects his new Ariel, the second covers the trial Edited December 16, 2015 by 2stroke4stroke
charlie prescott Report post Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) Hi Guy's. Are you sure it is not a "Bariel"? I was speculating that the first program covers Guy, machining all the new parts for the build in the "Factory' and the assembly of the bike, the New front forks will only need fitting because they are already in production. It would be good to see Guy lacing the the new rims to the AW Racing front and back hubs. and helping to cast the New Head and barrel at the foundry. PS, Forgot about the visit to the F1 carbon fibre factory to make the tank ,fork sliders, and rear guard stays. Should be a good first program. The second would cover Guy practicing and getting the low down from the stars of "The Scottish Two Day" trial at the beginning of May. One thing is certain, Guy will put every effort into his build, and ride, like he does with every thing he does. And again the real winner is the "Classic Trials" scene. Looking forward to the trial now. Regards Charlie. edit to add. Edited December 16, 2015 by charlie prescott

bisby Report post Posted December 17, 2015 I wonder if his camera crew might just catch him flying over the bars when his front wheel drops into one of those hidden Scottish moorland bogs Could he be contemplating turbo charging his bike --- be the fastest rider up pipeline. wallo Report post Posted December 18, 2015 Are there still entries available for the Scottish 2 day, I thought entries closed at the beginning of December?
16cs ajs Report post Posted December 18, 2015 Mayhap the Edinburgh Club have taken a leaf out of the Indoor World Championship's book & introduced a wild card entry? Wild being the operative adjective! Should be a fascinating spectacle watching Guy trying to ride slowly. He'll definitely raise the profile of this classic event. Might even be worthy of a mention in MCN & similiar "rags?" That would be novel.
