What about Dabill and Brown??

I hope they are in the top ten, but I think the younger riders will begin to displace the likes of Fuji etc and if Karlsson and Casales dont miss rounds this time they are nailed on top ten.

I may be right. I may be wrong.......

3. Busto

4. Fajardo (bike?)

5. Fuji (if he stays healthy)

6. Casales

8. Ferrer ( i thought alex would do better this year but, not sure what happened)

9.Karlsson ( on the rise but not sure how good he will be. hope it goes well for him)

10. Tarres (health / durability?)

I think raga may run bou very close this year. I think he's regained that 'belief' that he can beat him.

Is it unfair to suggest that if fajaro got into the top 4 he'd be doing well, bear in mind how dibs has gone backwards since riding the vertigo, maybe development took too much out of him this year.

Busto and Casals will be top 5. Cabs could keep fajaro out of top 5.

Fuji must be in a 'wind down' year regards world champs now. We all love him but age and injuries are taking their toll now. Lower top 10 for me

Dibs around 8th, brown just outside top 10.

Iwan Roberts for the junior cup

Merry crimbo!!!!!!

With a bit of luck we may have some interest and surprises in WTC results after around a decade of stagnation. There are a number of scenarios that could play out.

There are proven riders (Raga & Fajardo) on mostly unproven bikes (TRS & Vertigo). Emerging riders (Casales & Busto) on proven bikes (Beta & Montesa). Will this see some change in the worlds top 5, or will it play into the experienced hands of Cabestany &Fuji riding familiar bikes?

Whatever else is happening this plays into Bou's hands, he must be a stronger favourite for his tenth title than he was for the previous nine.

Nice one Dabber! You bet me to it... :icon_salut:

This is a hard one... Put in top 15 with some motivations.

1 Bou (No doubt)

2 Raga (Yepp looks good on TRS)

3 Cabestany (3-5 well or JB/JC)

4 Casales (3-6 will step up)

5 Busto (3-6 could step up)

6 Fajardo (4-7 new bike)

7 Fuji (5-10)

8 Karlsson (6-12 injury free!)

9 Dibsta (7-10 well time to get back on form)

10 Ferrer (6-11 time to step up )

11 Grattarola (7-12 will he do full series)

12 Kadlec (8-12 will he step up? (also new bike)

13 Tarres (10-14 the others are more promising)

14 Shepherd (12-16)

15 Gubian (10-16)

16 Brown (12-18) Hard to get back

Well just a few days away.  Seems to be the most competitive in years with 23 riders preentried and 15-20 riding most of the series.

Grattarola, Gubian and Brown back. Gelabert and Caudemberg newbies. Only Shep and the Japs missing of the top 20 guys.
