Thanks for that and yes changed jet.

 

Have you changed the pilot jet in the carb ?

250 is 27.5 and the 325 is 20

main jet is the same.

I'd say yes just give it a little time to bed in, so don't rev it out

My 250 with a 2mm overbore is on 125 main and 37.5 pilot on a VM26 and its perfect from walking pace. 27.5 was very baaaaaa on the VM26

 

A quote from Jim at BOC for the VM26  . Mines on 37.5, maybe due to overbore size

Pilot Jet #35

That's if you running a 26mm, the stock carb is 28mm though
