Sorry again - getting conflicting details from shops - what gear box oil is everyone running on a 2015 ST300 - I have some HTX 740...??

thanks

chris

Any 75W trials motorcycle  gearbox oil. there are plenty of manufacturers around that are well known Putoline ,Silkolene, Rockoil, GRO, ipone,NILS Motul .....if you want something super dooper then you could try Putoline Nano trans GP ....It uses Nanny McPhee technology to increase its retail price.

if you want to find out what a top british rider used in your year of bike call up Splatshop [Sherco Specialists]and ask what they use in the gearbox....... they sell and ride Sherco's so any info is from the organ grinder.

How did you get on with your oils?

Reason is I have about 20ltrs of 'Castrol power 1, 4T 10w-40' . Be a shame to buy new oil if this is ok to use.

The manual for the Sherco ST 300 2020 just says to use '700 cc of 10w-40' nothing else.

Thanks in advance.
