I just use standard springs with extra preload spacers [inmotion have them] with 180cc ATF.  I weigh 79kgs so if you're heavier you may need a heavier spring.

Hello Sherpa325 thank for the reply. I'm about 85kgs which pre load do you have as they do 2 sizes. What is the standard length of of sherpa springs? I thought they were 450mm as inmotions are 500mm.

The shorter of the two spacers is the standard one that sits on top of the spring, I made my own some time ago, so I can't remember the exact length, maybe 20 - 25mm. Again I am unsure of the original length of a std spring but it was discussed some time ago

Thanks for the sherpa250 I read that link a while back but couldn't find it. I've decided to just order some of inmotion and go from there I think. Any will be better than the original I hope

I would prefer in your dilemma to check out static and dynamic sag anf then start from there looking up the right spring.

To me most standard sprungs are to hard as I weight 70kg. Thus I have to replace even standard good springs.

I made good experience with HFS springs and too with their additional air cartridges which allowed you to adjust the fork very good.

But you get too just different spring packages to your weight needs.
